How is person and online tutoring different?
The distinction between the two tutoring approaches is minimal. In the case of remote students, they meet on an engaging virtual tutoring platform where both students and tutors have shared control. We continue to use multisensory methods which are beneficial for students with Dyslexia. The main difference between online and in-person is our online students practice developing their typing skills, rather than handwriting skills. Students find enhanced concentration online compared to in-person sessions due to the comfort and tranquility of their familiar surroundings. We have found online tutoring to be highly successful for our ADHD students.
