Packing for a Trip Cards
Teach your child how to independently pack for a trip with our handy printable packing cards.
Description:
Our wonderful printable cards help your child or teen remember what they need to pack for a weekend get away, a long trip abroad and anything in between.
Directions:
Print the cards on cardstock.
Cut out the cards your ready to use.
Allow your child to color them in. Kids will potentially take more ownership of their tasks if they color the cards in.
Laminate them simply by wrapping with clear packing tape.
Punch a hole at the top.
Store the cards in a convenient place.
When it is time to pack: Discuss with your child what you feel is important for them to take on the trip or select which cards they need to use, have them put the tasks on a ring, ribbon or string in order and take the ring with them. When they are done packing, they should take the cards off of the ring and put it away to use next time.
